The bourne Ultimatum, jess davis

I watched The Bourne Ultimatum, directed by Paul Greengrass in 2007. The film stars such well known actors as Matt Damon, who plays the hero of the film, Jason Bourne and Julia Stiles. Having such actors involved in the film made it the success it was as viewers are much more likely to want to watch a film starring actors who are well known for successful performances.
I watched the film at home with my mum on DVD. I think i would have enjoyed the film alot more if i'd watched it on the big screen at the cinema as the fast paced action and loud sound would have had more impact on my viewing.
The film is completly action packed and there is hardly a second to recover from the fast paced, tension filled scenes. The film is the last in the trilogy of Bourne films and, i, having only seen the last film, found it signnificantly difficult to understand what was going on. This suggests it is a film that definatly requires an audience who is dedicated to watching all the films to get its full impact.
The film, generally aimed at a younger male audience who are more likely to appreciate the fights and car chases, ends with a revealing and much awaited conclusion; as just as you think Bourne has been defeated, he swims out from the river to complete the rest of his journey.
