although i have watched the film many times i decided to watch the superb film that is walk the line. the film is directed by James Mangold. the film is about the life of the American country musician of Johnny Cash.The film focuses on Cash's younger life, and his romance with June Carter and his ascent to the country music scene, with material taken from his autobiographies.
Joaquin Phoenix plays a superb Johnny Cash and was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar, won a Golden Globe in the same category, and won a Grammy Award at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards for his work on the Walk the Line soundtrack. Joaquin was one of the main attractions to this film, and made the viewing very realistic and enjoyable. Reese Witherspoon also was a star attraction to this film and brought the film great credibility. Within the film Reese Witherspoon portrays June Carter Cash and won a Best Actress Oscar for her performance.
I have this film on DVD and is one of my all time favourites which i enjoy watching over and over again. but the best viewing of this film was in the cinema as it added atmosphere.
I really enjoy Johnny Cash's music so thoroughly enjoyed the film. i would also recommend it to everyone.
