Mona Lisa Smile

Mona Lisa Smile was directed by Mike Newell, a well known director, more rescently known for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The film is classed as both a comedy, and a drama, and is rated 12. The film is set in the 50's, about an art professor who joins Wellesley and teaches the conservative girls to question their traditional societal roles.
The cast was a big selling point, the lead being played by Julia Roberts, with people like Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles, and Maggie Gyllenhaal playing supporting roles. This would have attracted a large part of the audience.
I watched this film on television, after having watched it at the Cinema with my sister when it came out in 2004.
