Shark tale was released in 2004. It is directed by three people. Bibo Bergeron, Vicky Jenson and Rob Letterman. Shark tale is one of my favourite films. I watched it at the cinema with my older sister, when it came out and then it was bought for me on dvd some months later.
It is comical with an underlying serious messgae about family and friends and how they stick together. Shark tale is a family film, rated U in uk, it pulls its audience in by bringing it other films that did well such as Shrek. It also pulls its audience in with its star studded cast list.
The main characters are played by celebrities such as Will Smith, Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Renee zellweger, Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese. These are the main celebrities but Shark Tale also boasts lesser know musician type celebrities such as Ziggy Marley and Peter Falk. The soundtrack does not miss out on this celebrity attention and many of the songs are done by famous bands and singers such as Justin Timberlake, D12 and Christian aguilara.
